Does it matter enough to Captain Coward, Richie Smallwood who led the club to limp performances every time it mattered last season? Clearly not.

What a wasted afternoon, I'm not usually one for knee jerk reactions but if Hughes walked tonight I honestly wouldn't lose any sleep.

 

I said at the end of last season one of our targets in the summer needed to be a good number 2 to challenge and push Lewis. He may have been a little jaded towards the season given the number of games he played but the signs were there that complacency was starting to slip in and he was beginning to believe his own hype. The interest from Barnsley and all his mates leaving won't have helped either but if he doesn't start to get his head in the game, he's going to not only blow our chances this season, he's not going to get a big move anywhere else either.

Hughes is a fool, crap signings and crap football. The basis was there to build properly going into this season and he ditches the players and style of play for something that is being shown up week after week as simply not good enough by a long long chalk.
