Defensively we've gone backwards and no improvement elsewhere.

 

I keep saying it but 343 doesn’t work. We lack options when we are playing the ball out because we only have 2 CMs that are easily marked out of the game.

I also think Smith looks far more effective playing centrally alongside Cook. Would happily see McDonald come on for Odour or Smallwood and switch to 352.

well that made me chuckle those around me thought I was mad.

 

What does Adams want? The lad got his shot away and missed. If he scored, would they still claim it's a penalty?

 

What a shocking first half… absolutely crap.. created nothing 0 corners… piss poor.. well we cant be any worse second half can we ?

This 45 minutes has been as bad as anything I've seen over the last six seasons. If we don't see better second half questions need to be put to the manager after the game because that is not acceptable.

 

This formation isn't working. I don't understand why we chaged from last season. It's even more defensive - It's not a back 3, its very much a back 5. And Cook doesn't have a partner because Odour and Smith are basically wide midfielders. It's 541.

Awful to watch, and it doesn't work at all.

Not a great half at all.

Cook as isolated as he was all last season. Distribution from the back is weak. Wing backs barely been involved at all, although I’d say Oyegoke has been one of our better players, meaning our threat is virtually none existent.

We have little presence in the midfield, little attacking threat and generally look a bit lost and clueless. We’re not passing the ball, hardly moving, offering very little.

Massive improvement needed for the second half.

 

New lad has fit in well. Looks lightweight and has barely touched the ball.

 

We could be exactly the same which is highly likely

 

Performances predict results. 2 years in and with the backing he's had, this is completely unacceptable.
