Some of the figures relating to the show are very impressive. While I don’t think Wrexham made a huge a mount of money from it, the exposure it has given them is incredible. They saw a 600% increase in retail sales and saw a jump in 20% of people following their social media. Analysis published found that, on average, daily demand for Wrexham gear spikes 47% each week the day after new episodes drop. So for Wrexham and the new owners the Disney+ show has clearly been a massive positive. Rupp cant compete with that, nor can any other owner in league 2.

It will be interesting to see what kind of revenue streams they will use going forward to get around FFP.

 

I was meaning more about what have the two new guys put into the club knowing they will get a % of the takings from Disney, I'm sure they have invested their own brass but knowing you have a % of money coming in from Disney+ will possibly go directly to the running of the club and the building of that new Kop behind the goals.
I wish Wrexham all the best going forward (unless it against us) but felt at the end of the game against Boreham Wood the new owners were more important than the players who had won the league, I'd love someone like those two getting involved with our club for reasons you've quoted above.

Its hard to know exactly what their outgoings are without looking at their accounts but i'd expect their wage bill matches anything currently in this division and probably beyond. Their potential revenue streams will make big inroads into that, i remember reading they get £3million a series for the welcome to Wrexham show and their social media reach is incredible. They were getting more hits than Liverpool and Arsenal the other week when their games were on.
