Why are these well supported clubs in league one if its all about numbers through the turnstiles?

Meanwhile, Fulham, Brentford and Bournemouth are all premier League?

Then, in the championship, you've got Burnley running away with it and Millwall, Luton and Preston in and around the play offs while Birmingham, Stoke and Bristol City struggle.

And don't forget, even our ex Messiah said we could charge £1 entry if we reached the PL as gate receipts mean very little compared to the TV money received.

 

My hope is the momentum starts to slip now because it catches up with them. A few who don't fancy the odd tackle because it could put them out of the cup match and that kind of thing, a few extra yellow cards, a few little niggles.

Our cup run was different because we were so close to glory. We live in hope though, rather than expectation.

Haha, yes Rod, it literally can't be the same squad!

Doubt any new loanee will be in the squad, but it would be fun if they were - I miss the old days where you'd be driving to VP and the radio announced some random new signing you'd never heard of was in the starting line up - like Ole Bjorn Sundgot

 

Mark Hughes did say the same squad as the Salford game apart from Tyreik.

Saw someone on twitter at like 7 this morning ish say they drove past the ground and the floodlights were on. Early start for the ground staff to try make sure this pitch is covered up.

 

Dont think even the covers will save this. They lay flat on the pitch so water will get underneath them. They are frost covers really not rain ones.
