(History of) Valley Parade

    I've joined this board as I am researching Bradford City FC and the history of Valley Parade. I've been many times as a visiting supporter, but I am researching for a book that I am currently writing on football grounds and its history.

    I'm interested in its early years (since before the club changed to football), and its development over the years up until its current structure.

    Could somebody with very good knowledge of the club (or historian), get in touch via email; at theawayend@aol.co.uk - I'm more than happy for people to reply to this post too.

    As a supporter, I've been to Valley Parade about a handful of times and is listed as one of my favourite away grounds. Maybe one day I'll travel as a neutral and experience the home end.
