Or in some cases on the far corned flag, what was annoying is Banks has a good free kick in him why not rotate where the free kick is given.

In a couple of the home games this season Wright has whipped in a few decent free kicks as well.

As you say not getting results at home will put unessary pressure on the team to continue getting results away from home.

I was genuinly surprised Sparkie didn't make any changes at half time, and once we went 3 down it was always going to be difficult to get back into the game.

I don’t understand why we can’t change at half time. As he has said many times a player starting is no different to players coming on from the bench they are all needed.
Yesterday it was screaming out for a change, and we wait until midway through the second half.

Both me and the wife commented how much we were enjoying the game like you say.
After seeing the goals again this morning what disappoints me most is that for the first goal Smallwood has a bit of space round him to move forward into but his first thought is to go backward.
After this I thought they were just too mobile for us and wasn’t surprised a 2nd came so quick.
What also pissed me off was that even though we were 2 down at the start of the 2nd half and needed to be defensively strong for the first 10 or 15 minutes, we allowed their striker to break away down their left less than 2 minutes in to the 2nd half and he should have found Pinnock with a better ball across the box with Foulds nowhere near him.

The thing is Bantam, you just knew that Smallwood would make a balls of it - he usually does and hell, if Hughes and Smallwood himself can't see it, it's a poor state of affairs. He should be removed as the set piece taker immediately, we can all see now why Hull City didn't renew his contract.

There isn't much room for cockups from any member of the team but there has to be concern over Smallwood at the moment.Hughes has to sort things out because, although doing well away (The O's will be the litmus test) we do need to tighten things up. Be interesting to see who can up their game or who can step whatever the selections for Tuesday.Big gap to close performance wise during the rest of the season if we want to match the front three. The beauty of football is there's always another game.

The thing is we cannot carry on wasting home advantage by slow passing around at the back. For the first time a team took us on and nicked it off us and we were thoroughly exposed.

Can’t really agree even at our best Northampton would have taken some beating. On the day they looked a very good side. They were positive pacey and they had that essential qualities of footballing ability and physical presence. There link up play was terrific helped by the movement of their forwards. We don’t see them every week but on that showing they look promotion certainties

No doubt ROD will have his best game ever at VP and the game will finish 0-0
And this will be after taking 6 points from Orient and Gills.

There is a quality player there but he's signed for us because he is clearly at the tail end of his career. He has mostly been good but recently has had some absolute stinkers. I do wonder if a much stronger partner would allow his quality to come out more at this level.

Hughes is both stubborn but also inconsistent at times in selections. Unless Wright had a niggle still I don't know why he started Eisa. He quite clearly is nowhere near match fitness and has only a very limited amount of game time. Not giving East a shot is also a little baffling when we need to improve on passing from that area. Songo'o - splits opinion but I think I could beat him in a foot race at 51.

I thought Eisa got better as the match went on he was offering the threat until they took him off second half. I like his directness and as his match time goes up I think he will be a big player for us.

Thinking about Smallwood over hitting corners he spent most of his career at Hull with a pitch 4 yards wider
