I feel for Kian in this. As far as we know he is knuckling down and getting on with it. His dad needs to shut up, he isn't helping.

don’t know if someone put it on here but something come out a couple of weeks ago about him moaning about not playing ........... if it is true then it’s not just down to his dad .......... rumour or not it’s weird that the same player was involved with both incidents

 

I think we need to give the lad a break. He's young and there's definitely a player in there. There's no evidence he is being disruptive. If in fact he was I doubt MH would have him even on the bench when we have decent players not even making the match day squad. It's unfortunate that our system doesn't suit the type of striker he is, which limits his game time and will surely see him recalled and sent elsewhere in January. His dad isn't helping but let's not put him down unfairly.

I wasn't booing but I would have liked to have seen Cook kept on with Oliver up top with him using his physical presence to free up the Cookie monster as once again he was getting nothing from the ref. I say ref but after all it was Darren "look at me" Drysdale.

It’s ironic isn’t we have the ideal players now for a classic 442 line up with with a choice of decent wingers a striker on fire and probably the best header of the ball in the division with attacking midfielders backing up. And we now play in a completely different way not a criticism an observation

Yes, someone tweeted after the Walsall game that they'd overheard a couple of City staff talking about how Kian was unhappy about not starting games. I posted the tweet on here at the time but it has since been deleted.

 

I'd wager the only thing Hughes doesn't know more about than said person is the inside of a magistrates court

I know I have had my say in this thread but I doubt we are doing anything but helping alienate a decent young player who could well help us to promotion. I know his dad isn't helping but let's give the kid a break and get behind him.
