Better team, rattled the bar, stone wall penalty, Banks tore them a new one in the first half.

How did we not win?

Entertaining and end to end at times but it should have been ours.

Saying we didn't create the chances is gibberish.

 

I thought Banks was very good. Direct and always looking to attack. Sooner or later, the oppo are going to know he's always cutting inside. And the reason I think he cuts inside, is because there's never anyone coming in at the far post for him to cross to. I think he had two balls into the box today, and no one was there.

 

Didn’t a fair few say Pete Wild wasn’t good enough to manage in this league?

Never thought I'd say this, but we missed Gilliead today.

 

Dare I say the ref had been decent until the double pen call at the end. He was clearly not giving anything unless he was absolutely certain. The Oliver one he was maybe unsighted but the handball seemed absolutely nailed on!

 

It was never going to happen. Their keeper made one save. We never really looked like scoring or really looked like breaking them down.

 

Sorry but all this hype about Mark Hughes etc etc. 4 words sums it up so far. Doncaster , Barrow, Colchester and Crewe or am I being harsh as it’s only a few games in. Oh hang on I forgot their the BIG TEAMS in the league. What a joke ‍♂️

I didn't.. No1 fan club but cos we are this HUGE club in the 4th division, he ain't good enough to be considered, especially from the non league.

First half didn't think we were bad, created a few good chances and moved the ball fairly well. Second half was terrible, however. Switch to 442 was far too early and the result of having two strikers meant we created nothing.

Maybe. But when you spend 90 mins passing it sideways and backwards, you can't blame the ref for only taking a point.

 

It was a yawn fest. I can’t watch that kind of football week in week out I’m afraid.
