Not outside of the championship it wouldn't so I guess any vote would be 24/48 against

Do you honestly believe any club in league one or two would risk their league status being lost to a B team for £600,000 in blood money ?

That is unfortunately very true, the money has already bought them EPPP and access to the EFL Trophy and the scary thing is they might not even need to offer more money to get more concessions, they can just threaten to reduce the existing deal and that'll buy them a lot of turkeys who are more concerned about the survival of their own club than they are about whether the 2 relegated L2 teams are replaced by NL teams or U23 teams for a few years.

The sooner we get an independent regulator for football the better.

Yes I do ... cos it won't happen to my club, will it? In any event, it would probably be introduced by reducing the number of NL clubs being promoted into the EFL for a couple of seasons rather þhan an EFL club being replaced directly by a B team.

The impact of the change would be felt initially by one or more of the top NL teams rather than an EFL club. And the NL have no locus in the decision making.

If ever a competition needs scrapping, its this one. Whichever guise it has been in, its never caught the imagination of the teams involved until the very later stages.
This has not improved with the inclusion of pl under 23 or 21's.
If they want their younger players to get serious game time, send them all out on loan to the lower clubs and pay for the privilege of having their players developed or better still stop them hogging all the youngster's, most of whom they dump at some point. The greed of premier league clubs never ceases to amaze me. Also i have never bought this crap , its a short career so the player need to earn as much as they can, do they cease to function at 35 and are incapable of doing anything else. Did Gary Jones not re train as some kind of health care person.
A different approach to the governance of the game is required in lots of ways, it won't happen, as people say Turkeys don't vote for Christmas

That has to be a wind up, unless wednesday have sold 3500. Only the bottom of the main stand open and the ticket website is showing not that many sold.

I think Sheff Wed have their own loyalty system and seeing as tickets for their away games are difficult to get hold of, they are clearly grabbing points where they can.

They took 6,500 to MK Dons this season, and sold out their allocations for Peterbrough and Bolton, so when Forest Green offer them 50 tickets people are getting points where they can.

So reading above, the Owls have sold nearly 2500 mainly so people can get loyalty points, sounds reasonable actually.
Now if only 50 turn up we’ll know for sure. And City won’t give a toss, all money in the bank.

Huge club tbf. Long suffering fans. Battered Forest Green 5-0 today. I hope they go up under Bruno - obviously not wanting them to turn us over before though.

With their season going so well at the moment will Darren play the kids, as you say massive club is getting to Wembley in this poor man's Cup competition part of his goal for this season.

I'm still not sure about this competition.

I think it is disruptive to the early season. Get a tricky group like we have and you could lose all your games and that will hit morale even if there are changes in the team.

I think it would probably be better played a little later on in the season once most of the lower league teams have gone out of the league Cup - say October onwards.

It’s the perfect opportunity for players coming back from injury Timi for instance and fringe players to stake their claim

Equally there are some returning/fringe players who need game time. I’ll be tuning in for this one. Have a feeling with Wednesdays sold tickets it could feel more like they’re at home than us
