But a CEO should get the basics right. He takes the lads for a jolly to Italy while there is no running water in the toilets or hand dryers working. I went onto the ticket site on the stroke of nine. Still saying 950 points. Tried again at quarter past - same. Tried ringing the ticket office. Queued for 45 minutes to be told they'd sold out and don't know if they'll be getting any more.
Seriously pissed off that the club couldn't get the sale to ST holders up at 9am, when I'd have had a chance. This system is an utter fecking joke.

 

I'm abit pissed off too.
Always managed to get tickets in the past.
Missed out on barrow and hartlepool now .2 trips I made last season.

I was an engineer working shifts, I didn’t comment about turning 30 ton gear wheels.

 

The jolly to Italy meant that we have replica kits on sale which is more than can be said for our neighbours at Elland Rd and at most other clubs in the PL/EFL.

 

As I posted last season both me and the grandson were ushered through several times as the stewards scanners were not working.
Its a complete nonsense to pay for your season ticket up front and then be penalised as you say if ill, on holiday or shift work etc and don't get your ticket scanned.

 

At the start of the season if you buy a season ticket you should get 230 points . You should get 50 extra if you pay for a suite upgrade . If you pay game by game you get 10 Away games you should get 10/20 .cup games 10. They have over complicated it .

How long do these points last ? Do they lapse after 3 seasons ? What’s the script

 

It's always over complicated.

So far we have seen 3 away games go on sale.

Barrow, sales had to be suspended due to people's points totals changing on a near hourly basis.

Colchester, loyalty points used for a game on a Tuesday night where we haven't historically took more than 400, pushing non season ticket holders into a 24 hour window to buy tickets at a discounted rate, the very people who are likely to be attending the game as they probably don't have a season ticket but live in the area.

Hartlepool, 30min of page refreshes after two tweets and a website news article saying the tickets were on sale, not to mention that at the same time they accidently somehow switched tickets to the Hull game to season tickets only.

When I bought my Hull ticket about 2 weeks ago I was under the impression it was for 10 loyalty points. Sales have been slow and all of a sudden news stories are saying its for 20 loyalty points. Why have the goalposts moved?

It's being seen to make what in theory is a simple system into a complete shambles that annoys people.

I thought the points per away game rewarded those who travel most to away games.
The priority did allow you to pick and choose away games.
On balance the points per away games is the better option. It rewards those who actually make the effort to go to away games.

You do see the same groups, faces at away games, many make the most of it, fair amount of old city fans who have supported the club for many many years.
Can’t see how if you have upgraded to the lounge bar and or bought 3 extra pies per game would warrant extra credit towards away tickets. I think if you are a regular traveler to away games you should have an early option to receive tickets.

 

No Hartlepool ticket for me. I had to leave the house at 9.20 for an appointment. Thought I had plenty of time if I was on the ball and ready at 9am.
Apparently not.
All sold out when I got back. A bit of a foul up.

 

If it was only about away games fair does but it’s not It’s about spending money with the club. 1903 club , suggested new membership , home games , cup games . Whilst it’s main priority is away game allocations you also amass points threw various ways . Spending a extra £125 to upgrade to a suite for 50 points when just attending gets you 20 is fair game in my eyes .


Loyalty points will be awarded to each supporter - over the course of the 2021/22 season and beyond - on the following basis:

- Purchasing a season ticket: 150 loyalty points

- Purchasing a Bradford City membership package - to be launched ahead of 2022/23 in due course: 100 loyalty points

- Attending a home fixture: 20 loyalty points

- Attending a home pre-season friendly: 10 loyalty points

- Attending an away fixture: 10 loyalty points
