They ain't got a pot to piss in

It's either RFL or the council but can't seeing either be willing to stump up that amount

Could this be one of the reasons Ryan has had meetings with the council, surely with our lease being up in 5 years a stadium built for both the Bulls and Bradford City would be the way forward, not that I believe it will be built with government giving the council £20M peanuts compared with what a stadium with a roof would cost, I wouldn't think the Rugby League have the sort of money to even match the governments funding, and why once again is it the Bulls who seem to be first in the queue when hand outs are given.
Has the £200,000 loan the council lent Omar Khan ever been repaid in full, I believe he has made payments but the council at the time were not prepared to say how much is still owed.

And more crap in Saturday's T&A about a game changing development of Odsal. Yet more pie in the sky. It will never happen, and unless the RFL pay for it never should. BMDC should not be putting a penny more into the sink hole that is Odsal or a penny more into the basket case that is Bradford Bulls.

Enough is enough, fill it in and sell it for housing.

Is this Superdome mark 15 or 16 now?

There must be some rich artists in Bradford from drawing plans for a super stadium up at the tip only for Odsal to become more and more like a slum. They announced just over 2,600 for their last game, I mean what is the point they could easily move in with Park Avenue with those crowds.

Another white elephant pipe dream from BFD Council.
The only investment in Odsal in the last 20 years has come from the stock car promoters who've ploughed money into reopening the place.
They should be left to run the place. Oval racing runs successfully without bailouts from councils or government. Odsal should be the same.
The money would be better spent on a better transport system for the city. The fact it took me nearly 1 hour to get from Rooley Lane to Cottingley side of town last week is a disgrace.

2,600 there on Sunday watching a mid-table championship side. You’ve got to think they’d have to be a half-decent super league, pulling in decent crowds, to make this viable, if it at all. Pipe dream.

£20 million! The council should buy VP redevelop what you can afford to with the rest and rent it out at an affordable rate to both City and Bulls. It’s about time they wasted some money on us for a change and we actually bring footfall into the city.

I would guess the amount owing on that loan is £200,000 and the reason the council won't comment is because a Labour MP was front and centre as Khan's sidekick and the former council leader was also a director.

They were never going to admit to losing £200,000 to a company without a pot to piss in.

Why is the picture of a domed stadium for a summer sport?
