Seriously unimpressed with our first 2 games.

We lack in intensity and pace going forward. The system doesn't look right at all. We lack width and creativity. And for all the 'trying to play the right way', we're seriously dull to watch. And we look shit at the back.

Unimpressed with Hughes too tbh. Did nothing to change the game against Donny and the same limitations were on display today. Changed the front 2 and kept it like for like, when it was more about the system being an issue. OK, the front 2 scored, but that's not really the point. The system amd performance were piss poor.

A long way from being good enough so far.

Absolutely shocking performance from City, no pluses whatsoever, another season of mediocrity beckons, why must we fanny about for 75% of the game

Dire performance.

positives - jake young looks a player, and made an impact. Andy cook off the mark and also made an impact.

negatives - couldn’t defend in the second half for toffee. Gillead did nothing, angol and Oliver also did nothing.

next week we need to play young, cook, walker from the off.

 

Chapman had a shocker I thought. Lots of misplaced passes.

 

Oliver looks very poor and worryingly we gave him a three year deal.

 

Funny, some on here were creaming themselves over our centre backs apparent fantastic performance against a poor 10 man donny last week.

 

Platt = Shite

Smallwood = Underwhelming

 

Not good enough from start to finish. No urgency, no creativity, no ideas.

I liked Romoney on the ball - wasn't convinced by Platt though and even Romoney made a bad error against Donny

 

We need an experienced Centre Back and a winger before the deadline or will struggle. Critchlow not for me

 

Critchlow was lucky he didn't get a second booking for the challenge when they they cleared from their area.

 

Opponents have 4 shots on target from 14 and score 3 , we apparently from double the possession have 6 on target from 7 . I would rather not have the ball and create more than have all the ball and be pretty toothless .
