    This half is basically the real Derby team, with a couple of good signings thrown in.

    Second half might be different, don't know many of those names.

    Not good enough so far. A lot to do. Some of these players still in Spain.
    Derby have started like they want to prove a point and we are poor so far.

    Early Observations :
    Staunton is not a LB
    FCD still in the habit of switching off at crosses
    Chapman is quick
    Young will surprise a few this year
    Lewis good with his feet
    Songo looking strong as CB
    Platt has looked a bit shaky so far

    Hughes is implementing a high press strategy. It seems the forward players have been trained adequately to deploy this

    Derby may be playing most of their first team but our defence is far from its strongest. FCD an Staunton will not be deployed at full back in the league an its still unclear what our strongest Centre Back pairing is. No need for concern

    Platt and Songo'o look like they are still working out how to play together; who goes where with a through ball, who closes down who etc. Will take a bit of time.

    Just shown the first goal again where was the kid FCD was not aware his man was 4 yards behind him and by the time he did it was too late.

    Watching the defending by Smallwood on the goal, got pulled right, then inside and then give up the ghost...

    Getting done real easy down the sides. And just not holding the ball up in the centre
