I'm not sure why folk are fighting against the railworkers, surely the more people stick together the more power the public sector has. When I see folk like Branson and his like milk the public sector for millions shouldn't it be only fair that the folk on the front line of the service also get their share.

Over the last ten years of Tory rule the difference between workers wages and company profits has never been higher, Shareholders have never had it so good and ordinary workers so bad,

They aren't striking in isolation, a lot of other unions are or will be balloting for strike action by the looks of it. People have simply had enough of being treat like mugs and continually being asked to work more for less money, whilst those at the top get more for doing less and less.

Same old same old politics of envy, you've got the most giveaway socialist government in history and it's still not enough...

You say that like nobody works hard and just sits on their arse all day doing nothing. If that was true the country would have collapsed a lot sooner. What I want is a fair days' work for a fair days' pay and dignity in work. How deluded do you have to be to think that is the politics of envy.

Wages have to increase in line with inflation at least otherwise people are effectively taking a wage cut.

Amazing how some folk can't even get this basic maths equation. How dare folk fight to not take a pay cut. Lets face it most folk are that stupid the government don't even have to try, just throw a few lies out and the ones at the bottom eat each other.

Economics is complex but to the working classes living from wage to wage it's simple. If prices rise and your wage doesn't you're poorer.

If wages increase at a higher rate than inflation then yes it can cause inflationary pressure, if wages do not keep up with inflation it can cause a drop in demand due to people not being able to afford what they could before. The issue is inflation changes constantly so it is hard to predict what it will be a few months down the line never mind for the next 12 months
