I think we will see a couple more ins and out but I think Mark Hughes will see it a bit different to us lot. Right back Hendrie/Sutton/FCD, CB Platt/Critchlow/Songo'o/Kelleher. I think Kelleher will look a better player under Hughes style of play.
If Andy Cook isn't talking to other clubs already he is more likely to go in January if it doesn't look like he is going to get another contract. I don't see the point in bringing in another RB or CB unless somebody a bit special becomes available. We've got two left backs and four centre back so I can see Reece Staunton going out on loan.
I think any more recruits will be determined by Elliot Watt and Andy Cook staying or going. They may be looking for cover for Jamie Walker too.
I don't know about you chaps but I am quite chipper about the comings and goings so far.

Interested to know why you think that Kelleher will look better under Hughes.
Personally I think Hughes wants his CBs to be good on the ball and Kelleher is anything but.

Most people seem to want a new CB and a new RB and I agree with them. FCD, Kelleher and even Hendrie and Staunton aren’t good enough IMO.
The exceptions may be if Staunton could play on the left of three CBs or Hendrie could just be a back up.

Can see Staunton and Kelleher going out on loan, but Kelleher getting a NLP side, whereas Staunton probably goes local.

I agree. I’m fairly sure that they’ll both be available to leave either permanently or on loan so that we can bring someone better in and rightly so. Same with FCD.

I don’t think cover for Walker will be needed. Chapman can play there, an I think Harratt an Young can cover there as well.

I was actually talking about how I felt Mark Hughes sees the situation regarding players we have signed and already had on our books, of course we would all like better and I would hope that would always be the case as we all want the club to progress.
Take Luke Hendrie for example, I hope I'm wrong and we sign another right back but I don't think Mark Hughes has signed him as a back up RB.

Maybe he hasnt.....but if we can get rid of Threlkeld then he will need to bring in another RB.

    Hornby - definitely going
Threlkeld - will be on the chopping block
    Ridehalgh - stays
Kelleher - could be off, not good enough although a 4th choice.
    Staunton - loaned out
    FCD - loaned out
    Songo'o - stays
    Gillead - deffo stays
    Scales - loaned out
    Cook - stays for now

Watt will be off. Charlie Wood too (sorry if I missed he had signed a new deal)

Gilliead going nowhere IMO. Songo'o will only go if he wants to leave, wont be forced out. Same with Cook.

Kelleher has already looked better under Hughes in the games he played towards the end of the season he played well

Charlie Wood is a talented lad he needs a good loan move. The same applies to FCD

Hughes confirmed in the lengthy Radio Leeds interview yesterday that there would be more ins and outs before the season starts

He was one of our better players, if not the best in the “ reserves” run out at Colchester . He had a steady and away game.

Gillead is an interesting one. I hadn't thought about him leaving before yesterday and I don't think we'll in a rush to move him on, nor do I think he'll particularly want to go. In the deeper, central role he looked good. However, what if Watt stays? Or what if someone comes in for him and Hughes thinks he can get a better fit for the system he plays? I'd say a move is unlikely, but I wouldn't rule it out entirely.

He stays for me, MH found him a more effective role towards the season end and he could provide good cover. On that basis he remains to be a critical squad member.

Really strange signing for me. Adams tactics seemed to be sit deep and hit teams on the break, so why would you buy a winger with no pace?

Agree that he looked better when played central. His lack of pace is hidden a little bit.

It's a strange one for sure, but the club have kept things close their chests let's hope this is another with a positive ending.

It was a Lee Turnbull signing. I don't think Derek had a lot to do with it.
