    Finally!

    Good signing and a far better body to have up front than the likes of Robinson etc.

    3 year deal and given his age if he does really well we could make a few quid off this

    They obviously really rate him with that length of contract.

    I am puzzled that we have paid a fee, I thought he had been released?

    Looking forward to seeing him in action for us.

    His agent has done well for him there. Three year deal and an undisclosed fee.

    I know nothing about him but lets hope he’s an upgrade.

    Why if they have released him?. That only happens if they offer a new contract similar or better than previous contract?

    Indeed. Obviously some crossed wires in terms of his contracted status.

    Anyhoo, I think this could prove to be shrewd business and a bit of long long term thinking, and good scouting by the club. Its the sort of deal we don't usually do, which I think is a positive given our recruitment performance over the last few years!

    they must of already knew he was signing for us so offered him a contract on equal terms so they get compo so maybe just put on released list because knew he was leaving! Is a strange one mind

    I'm glad they are going down this route so far in their recruitment instead of last gasp signing of journeymen such as Theo Robinson.

    Same could be said of the signing of Harry Lewis

    Good to see we've protected a potential asset with a long deal. Happy with this one, primarily because we've gone in the opposite direction from the likes of Robinson, Elliot, Lavery and Delfouneso.

    Agree the emphasis seems to be on the younger player. Good signing and adds definite pace up top. Liking what I am seeing so far on the recruitment side.
