    Mid cycle ride break.

    On my route this morning, I had to use a stretch of dual carriageway for about 400 metres. It connects two cycle routes and it is quiet most of the time.

    It was traffic-free this morning. Apart from one taxi. Even though they had nearly two full lanes to use, they had to drive at 60 mph so close to me I could have reached into the car. Scared the hell out of me.
