    Pretty impressed with the speed with which we're signing players.

    New keeper, Jamie Walker, Angol extended - tells me there's not much doubt in the minds of those players ahead of the new season.

    I guess if you know what you want to get done, get it done.

    Mike Duxbury was absolutely terrible. He couldn't run and spent 89 minutes of the 90 inside the centre circle desperately trying to slow everything down. I remember wondering how he'd ever played so high, especially internationally.

    I was attending City at that time but was quite young and don’t have any stand out memories of Mike Duxbury. I’ve often heard memories of him being poor for City, yet he played 300 games for Man Utd. I guess we got him once his legs had gone.

    Anyone heard any other wild rumours then? Saw Geoff Cameron and George Miller mentioned - former was only on a spoof twitter account though.

    I’m gonna start my own made up one. Devante Cole on a season-long loan from Barnsley. They’re down, he’s struggled, might wanna offload.

    Had a spell on loan in Scotland and doesn’t stay anywhere for long. I’m ignoring the fact he’s on Championship wages because Hughes managed his dad at Blackburn and Devante was on Man City’s books in youth set up when Hughes was boss there.
