It's absolute noise and bizarre from Adams. If a player plays well on loan for 6 months but goes we get 6 months and the opportunity to get someone else in or we don't get anyone in. It's utter bizarre from him

It was late when posted after a few wines Adams thinking no point getting loans for first 6 months was bizarre in the extreme in my eyes. If they played well we benefitted, and they may or may not then go back to the host club but it then puts you in the same position as a minimum if had not taken on loans but more than likely better off, as you can then take on loans for the second half of the season

 

Strange that the Mail reveal this before the T&A or indeed the club, if true, or is it just a rumour.

The article also states that we have already sold 13000 season tickets, which is clearly incorrect.

The Mail do tend to get a lot of their football stories correct though, so we shall see

Not having played a competitive game for 4 years is a bit alarming. I wonder why he hasn't been out on loan since his spell in Scotland

When Southampton 1st and 2nd choice keeper's were both injured at the same time, they brought in a 40 year old on emergency loan rather than play Lewis. I think he did get on the bench then though.

 

Alarming that we would want an inexperienced goalie. Maybe the report is wrong. Somebody putting 2+2 together and coming up with 3!

 

Well they've certainly done that with season ticket sales!

I thought that. Maybe because Premiership clubs can afford 3 keepers? Not good for development though. Ball player, which might indicate style

 

We'll see but I think we're going to get a lot of these "used to work with Hughes" or "is known to Hughes" type of rumours. Would be interesting to know how many of them are potentially true rather than guesses.

 

Cos we is massive, innit.

 

If we are going to be linked with every available player who Hughes has managed we are going to be in the papers a lot!

I remember reading comments from Dundee fans when he was on loan there really rating him, saying he commanded the area brilliantly, & he was a lot younger then. I think he deserves a chance!
