If Sutton can do so well, you would imagine Stockport and maybe Wrexham if they come up, waltzing straight through this league next season and straight to league 1

"“There were natural things you would find with a part-time, underfunded football club,” Wilson says at Stott’s offices in Cheshire. “They didn’t have enough people, they didn’t have the right facilities, couldn’t think further than a week or two in advance so proper planning couldn’t be done. A lot of that comes down to finance – it’s cold and matter of fact. I know Ralf Rangnick has come out with a lot of phrases but I do agree with the three Cs: concept, competence and capital. You need enough of it to start to build things.”

    Concept, Competence, Capital

We have none of those three :(

Sutton should win team of the year in the EFL. They show how important a clear structure and momentum are in any form of sport. They play to their limits and know what they do well.

The cryptocurrency/bitcoin markets have imploded and fortunes being lost at the moment.

Bitcoin investors could be set to lose all their money

Thank christ we didn't entertain the cryptocurrency geeks from America

I just can't see how it won't or can't be more regulated from tax, money laundering, corruption purposes, which is one of the reasons for it i.e. outside of government intervention, but you are opening up a massive black market. Who's to say government officials dont have hidden bitcoin accounts right now?

Would rather shit in my hands and clap than buy into Crypto.

Did you see that Crypto millionaire who bought the NFT of the first ever tweet for $2.9 million last year put it up for sale recently and the highest bid was…….wait for it……. $6,800.

    great investment!!

Yeah but that's hardly anything special is it?

Now, a NFT of Luke Hendrie taking a throw-in, that's where the money really is.

If you know anything about crypto, the idea of a crypto winter isn't anything surprising.

If you don't know anything about crypto, you'll declare it the end of crypto itself.

Last time this happened ETH fell to £74. Years later shoots to £3400. BTC fell to £4k, years later it's £48k. If you can find a better ROI within 4 years then let us all know.

Don't see how some idiot millionaire wasting his money on something useless is supposed to reflect badly on crypto. People with money like that will always find ways to blow their money on something worthless. Nobody seriously into crypto would place any value in a .jpg NFT. It's the crytpo-worlds equivalent of someone spending 4k on a shirt because it has Supreme on it.

NFTs sound about as safe an investment as Football Index…..we know how that ended.

The reason that went to the wall (quote from a Guardian article with a former FI employee):

“The early users all make money because the price is rising, later users pay more and more for the bets. Eventually, that last group of users have massively overpaid for those bets, there’s nobody else to buy those bets and that’s when the platform goes bust. There is literally no other source for that money and it’s built in as a structural problem.“

The same structural flaws are the problem with NFTs IMO.

I understand the value of NFTs is in their uniqueness. So if anyone has one of a Threlkeld long throw beating the first man you'll be quids in.

You're right, anyone seriously using NFTs as some sort of investment are going to lose money 99.9999% of the time

Bitcoin certainly hasn't imploded so i'm sure sure what you base that assertion on.
