Please , it was absolutely nothing.
The games gone if so.
I thought the ref was terrible and Mike Dean in disguise would have been fairer.
Who was shite v Burnley years ago by the way.
Hated todays ref so much , absolutely clueless.

 

I'll only say this once because I'm normally one to easily dish out the criticism but over the last few games Paudie and Songo'o have been superb.

Well done gentlemen, credit where credit is due and long may it continue.

Steady Dave, they had two decent games, not faultless, but decent . It stood out moreso because Northampton, nor Tranmere had little forward threat and something we are missing….The midfield is protecting them far better now MH and Hodges have got their feet under the table.
It bodes well and gives us lots of cautious optimism for 22/23.

Quite refreshing to see such objective comments from an opposing team's supporters. Good judges of a game.

 

How many times do we see opposition keepers waste time and get away with maybe a warning eventually but rarely booked. That was ridiculous today, cannot recall a warning to hurry up, just straight out with card very theatrically.

Hate refs like that who seem to want to be the centre of attention. How some of these refs have managed a 20 year career in the Football League is a mystery.

 

Yes Idle , my take exactly. It was as if he planned to do it. I wouldn’t mind if Bass held onto any earlier balls “ over long” ? He didn’t and he didn’t get a warning at all. I mentioned earlier they were playing the ref like a fiddle and it wouldn’t surprise me if they were chelping in his ear in the lead up?

 

It’s ore than two games they have been good almost from when Hughes me in so close to the 5 th clean sheet today

Not knocking todays performance , maybe they have been advised they overplayed the

GUIDE FOR THE MARKING OF REFEREES
The Football Association Guidance for Marking is included in League Rule 13(h) and should be the
basis upon which Club Managers and Secretaries calculate the mark to be awarded.
The mark awarded by a Club must be based on the referee’s overall performance. It is most
important that the mark is awarded fairly and not based on isolated incidents or previous games.
The referee’s performance should be determined by the table below which should act as an guide for
the overall mark which should fall within the mark range for each standard of performance
Mark Range Comment
86 – 100 The referee demonstrated very accurate decision making and controlled the game
very well using management and communication skills effectively to add value to
the game.
76 – 85 The referee demonstrated accurate in decision making and controlled the game well
using management and communication skills to contribute positively to the game.
61 – 75 The referee demonstrated reasonably accurate decision making and despite some
shortcomings generally controlled the game well.
60 and below The referee demonstrated shortcomings in the accuracy of decision making and
control which affected the game.
Each referee's mark must be included on the Match Record Card which is sent to the appropriate
Divisional Secretary. However, if any referee has been awarded a mark of 60 or less the Referees
Secretary must be notified within five days of the match together with a report to justify the low
mark.
Further guidance on marking is contained in the relevant County FA Handbook

COMPLAINTS AGAINST REFEREES
Complaints by Clubs relating to the competence of qualified match officials must be submitted, in
writing, to;
The Chief Executive, Hampshire Football Association Limited, Winklebury Football Complex,
Winklebury Way, Basingstoke, Hampshire RG23 8BF
This complaint must be received within 10 days of the match concerned. All such complaints must
be accompanied by a deposit of £50.00 made payable to "Hampshire Football Association Limited".
When a complaint is investigated and is held to be frivolous or unjustified then the deposit will be
forfeit. If, after the investigation, the Referees' Committee find the complaint to be justified then
the deposit will be refunded.
The above extract is taken from the Rules of the Hampshire Football Association but Clubs are
reminded that a complaint of this nature is a serious matter and should not be undertaken lightly,
nor should the club marking system be used as a means of complaint. The Referee's performance
should be judged fairly and with due consideration to the FA Guidance on marking included in the
League Rules. Clubs who consistently mark Referees down due to the result involved or isolated
controversial incidents must be aware that they are in danger of being called before the League on a charge of misconduct.

 

he does it every time he comes to valley parade really wish EFL demote him

 

We didn’t last week we trained at the ground.

Maybe that’s why the performance levels were high because we didn’t train at a shite school.

 

What really pissed me off was when he waited and watched bass take goal kick just to give him a yellow card

 

Only trained at VP on Thursday mate

 

But we dont own the ground either.

 

He did exactly that, his position was all wrong for a goal kick, his actions were suspicious just before the kick and I thought “ what’s he doing”. It was premeditated I can guarantee for sure. I would love to see a replay of the seconds leading up to it.
