The cost is

 

My 5 year old grandson's shirt (size small) does not have his name on it, however my son's, size 2xl does include my grandson's name. Unfortunately my son's name which is on 4 times incorrectly spelt.

 

Did that 2 days ago, no reply yet.

 

Was it spelled correctly on submission? If so I’d be asking for a refund!

I emailed and got a very quick response back. Provided them with proof of deposit, and she sent me a PayPal link for me to complete the purchase.

Stage two is actually getting the shirt, in the right size, with my name on it spelt correctly

I've paid my deposit but haven't yet decided whether to buy. I want to see it in action before deciding one way or the other.

Well, even at 65, I can trap, shoot and pass a ball with both feet, which is more than can be said for most of our squad.

I have just had this reply from Mick Shackleton via email. Looks like there were a few with issues of not finding their name on the shirt. So the smaller the shirt the less likely you were to have your name on it. Seems like quite a big oversight from the club and Avec especially as so many will have been buying this for their children.

"Sorry for the delay in coming back to you. I’ve been waiting a response for some time now as we’ve had a few complaints around missing names on 4th shirts. Just to clarify the club have checked the information sent to Just Sport (AVEC) and all is present and correct – so your name was included.
With that we have located your name on the XL shirt so will look to send this through to you at no extra cost."

 

Got mine. Quite pleased with it, although I wouldn't be if my name was under the badges or sponsor print. Took about 5 mins random glancing to find my name. I suppose it would have been too much of a hassle to do alphabetically by surname. Not a bad shirt, but I prefer the home and away shirts better than this one. My twelve year old son was excited that my name has been worn at Valley Parade. Even the Mrs remarked it's a cool thing. I was impressed to see the amount of names on the shirt meaning that the 1903 seems to have been a popular initiative (and money maker).
