Happy along with most fans when Adams was appointed but it hasn’t worked out and it’s probably the best outcome for both parties that he’s gone.
As for the next manager going to aim high (wishful thinking) but would go for Chris Houghton, Grant McCann or short term Neil Warnock. Would love Chris Houghton to come but unlikely to drop two divisions. Think he has been an unsung hero wherever he’s managed and as he’s not managing at the moment ……, Neil Warnock again probably out of our reach so Grant McCann it is then!

Im not silly, it’s called common sense. He’s had a go and failed. He was sacked. He played his team the same style as Adams before Adams arrived. That’s why Adams agreed to keep him on as deputy because he knew he wouldn’t change style. Think before you suggest someone is being silly?

 

I think while we are in league 2 and run at costs we shouldn’t get too caught up on attractive football, sure have a go but style isn’t all that important.

It’s like your partner giving you £50 and telling you to go do the weekly shop, you aren’t shopping at Waitrose.

Our fans want Waitrose football at Lidl prices, winning and getting out of this league no matter how has to be the objective.

Unless we can get an owner with a vision, willing to invest off and on the field to make it happen.

 

I am afraid that you are silly for not ready through what I said properly. Young coaches styles evolve in the modern game. Give Trueman some credit. He has seen that system not working and knows that we the fans don't like that system. It isn't as if he his a 50+ coach who is set in his ways. Give the guy a chance until we get someone in.

I agree but both them teams have had an infrastructure in place for years and kept a lot of the same players and played a similar style throughout. It doesn’t happen over night, Exeter we’re relegated 10 year ago from this level and Taylor took over 4 years ago.
