Really?...you dont think these boards are read by anyone else?? This is still social media and some comments on this very board are just as bad as other platforms. Let me ask you a question....don't you feel embarrassed sometimes that every ex player wants to celebrate in front of City supporters?....Do you think booing will serve to motivate the players more? Why would anyone feel motivated to do anything for this football club whether its on here or anywhere else?

I really don't think there's anyone on this board who knows what it takes to run a football club and all the keyboard CEO's on here talk utter twaddle when talking about it.......do Rupp and Sparks really deserve everything levelled against them? Should we at least give a season?

I know i'd like to go a season with just one man in charge for a change!

 

Newspapers report on the performances of players and clubs to create news. They judge managers. Suddenly when we do it, it is wrong?

It's a millions miles away from saying this team isn't good enough, this manager isn't good enough and this club appears to be going nowhere over personal abuse. As paying customers we have a right to comment on the value we feel we are getting for our money. (I used the word customers to show we are paying for something here, and if you pay for something you are entitled to comment on if you think you are having value for that money paid, be it a service, goods, or entertainment.)

I've already said personal abuse and harrassment is out of order, however total removal of criticism for short comings is not something I dial into, especially if those same people bigged up the backing of the manager and funds for a promotion push etc before hand.

Some people want to silence everyone to accepting that scraping a draw against Sutton and managing one win against Salford in 6 attempts is something to be grateful for. Well i don't accept that.

What more insulting is Derek Adams coming on the radio and telling me what I just watched is in any way acceptable. This guy would serve you spam and chips and claim it was fillet steak.

 

Clap harder you b******s would have sufficed. Its basically the same message.

 

If thats the way you interpret that, then knock yasen out bud.

 

What other way is there to interpret it?

For those who don't like Ryan, that's your choice, but you don't have to be abusive. What i would say is that very few know how much Ryan does for this club. He is working with an owner who doesn't want the club so wont put the investment in, so Ryan and his team have to seek sponsorship where ever they can to give us a a good player budget. So please don't slag somebody off when most havent a clue.

 

There was a moron who threw a bottle onto the pitch today and he appeared to be pissed up.

The stewards and police had to intervene. The sad thing about all this was he appeared to be looking after his son at the game who was in some distress over it all.

It was in the standing section next to the seats.

 

One less priority card holder for next big game

 

Probably done himself a favour to be fair.

 

The company that own the business I work for don’t give us money, they expect us to make things and sell them so that we can pay our employees and the bills. Apart from it being in a different industry that’s no different to what Ryan has to do. He has to sell sponsorship and season tickets on the back of an exciting and successful football side. If your company makes a rubbish product then as CEO you have to live with the consequences of those decisions. You’ve literally described what every MD has to do for their company. That’s why they have the big office, car, salary and bonus.

 

Wetherby Whaler was on the main board of a FTSE 100 company, Dennis has his head screwed on and there are others who I am sure would be just as capable. Ryan is running a medium sized business, the manager of the Tesco on Canal Road will have a bigger staff and a much bigger turnover so don’t make out Sparks is some business guru. I’m sure he’s working hard and is committed to making Bradford City a success, but it’s not brain surgery, it’s £7-8m turnover company.

 

Difference is it’s sport nobody can guarantee success. Improve the infrastructure tick maximise incoming tick employ the best staff he seems to have done that in every department other than football but he certainly employed someone who had a better pedigree than we had a right to expect. Hopefully success is just delayed
