What? Did you not watch the game on Tuesday? Cook won absolutely everything in the air (as he does most weeks) but there was nobody anywhere near him to profit from it. I'm at a complete loss as to how you watch our games and think we need another target man in the side. Baffling.

Cook barely touched the ball on Tuesday. We were outplayed throughout and whenever it went forward it didn’t stick. Neither Robinson or Lavery are target men either.

this type of signing was needed.

Cook was isolated as we were camped in our own half for the majority of the game. Every long ball he challenged for he seemed to win, but more often than not we lost possession anyway because the nearest player in support was 20 yards away.

Agree. The system was broken on Tues. we are very lucky Miller fluffed his sitter first half and Bassy tipped over that header, as we got out of jail, for sure

 

I agree it's not his game to play with his back to goal. But he's strong and wins his headers more often than not, albeit a bit pants with the ball at his feet. Not sure what else you'd expect from him in that role.

I think we need to see how the season ends before we self flagelate for umpteemth time out of umpteem seasons plus the ten good ones, in the last fifty years.

Last time I looked Harrogate were below us and all the other clubs are within reach.

And I've never seen been 5 points off the play-offs and 8 off automatic, but 17 off relegation as "fighting it out at the arse end of league 2" - but what do I know!!

Who ever said we can't compete? I'm just suggesting that some Bantams, should respect other clubs. Rochdale have been fairly well run over the years. You'd think we'd drawn at home to a Northern Premier league team, judging from the comments last Saturday.

I'm sure Pompey fans were saying the same when they were down here for four seasons. I remember, about 20 years ago Hull ones were saying the same.

The ambition has been shown, otherwise we wouldn't have bothered with any signings. After all there's no threat of relegation, so if we're not bothered why sign anyone?

And people like you were definitely moaning at the same point of Parky's regime!!

Let's give Adams a season and a half, then if no progress has been made your moans will be justified.

 

Ambition hasn't been shown at all. 4 loan signings?? The club will sign players like this so they can tell the fans "well we tried" when it comes to selling season tickets again.

As for Adams, I'm not entirely onboard with sacking him. Since Rupps purchase the teams been shocking to watch under every manager. We'd hire another and it'd be the same thing. ​

 

True but Cranky money surely would have been better spent on a permanent signing or a more inspiring signing? The keeper and the Hearts lad seem good-the others meh!
