Could be any number of reasons, to help him get used to playing in front of bigger crowds on a regular basis while keeping him at the same level he was doing well at. But could be because they had a change of manager recently, maybe they or he doesn’t like how he’s used under the new manager. Could just be we offered to pay more of his wages and it’s closer to home for him.

 

How do you actually know that. The league table dose not lie.

Highlights videos can be misleading, but his goals for Hartlepool this season suggest he's a very capable and composed finisher, given the chances.

Its a selling point for what we can offer loan prospects that no other club in this league can. I.e. the demands of playing in front of 14k fans who expect a home win every time the team plays, is a genuine test that parent clubs will be interested subjecting their prospects to. Means next to knack all when attracting permanent signings, but for development loanees its a genuine factor

 

I think we are being harsh on Watt. In a team on the offensive he would shine

 

Great point. You want your loan signings to experience similar to what they will face for their club

 

Who cares if we can loan decent players from them

 

Graeme Lee's take on this is that he had been in and out of the team since he took over and had not replicated his early season and cup form in the league lately, and Huddersfield wanted him playing more often. Been on the bench quite a bit up there under Lee.

Not sure whether this is down to change of manager and style of play, but clearly lost his way a bit up there compared with early season.

Hopefully we get the early season version of Daly

 

It's a wait and see from me.

But the one thing I will applaud right now, in the words of hartlepool manager, Graeme Lee... A great lad with a great attitude
