I went and there were lots of straight to the point, uncomfortable questions that neither of them dodge. Adams was ruffled when challenged about winners, but on the whole they accepted the situation isn’t good enough and not winning promotion will be failure. I get the impression he will start to move players on sooner rather than later.

I just think Adams took one for the team on the recruitment question. As mentioned earlier, it wouldn’t have looked good on Sparks if he’d said it was nothing to do with him. He came across as “I’m big enough and ugly enough to take any shit”, but he did have a sense of humour that I didn’t know he had. Having never been to one before I found it interesting with ample opportunity to ask question you liked.

I am not sure what fans were expecting last night. They were not going to come out and proclaim we are totally wrong in everything we have done but dont worry we have half a dozen top class players signing this window and we will smash promotion.
This squad of players are good enough to achieve promotion, for what ever reason they are under achieving individually and collectively and completely lack any fight if things start to go against them. They need to take a good hard look at themselves . If i was a manager at another club, i would not look at any one of them as potential signings.
