I dont think anyone is happy with a point are they? We were poor today and didn’t do enough to win the game.

finn had a very good game. Songoo was excellent and got stuck in. Watt was crap. The wide men had no end product. Robinson was ineffective. Lavery looked lively in his cameo.

No great surprise we created little - their xG against is best in league - but my god it made for a bad game.

they’ll be in top seven, no problem.

 

Morecambe also drew 1-1 at home in a game in November last season.

Adams has us on track, promotion is assured.

 

It didn't feel like we tried to win the game though.

Conservative formation, conservative subs, conservative tactics.

We seem to be setting up in a way to counter what the opposition does. Has anyone else noticed this? Adams just said "we had to set up with 4 at the back because that's what they do"

 

We’ve actually made ground on playoffs today lol. Most of those above us dropped points so we’re three points off seventh, with a nicer run of games to come.

We need to start winning games of course but lets have some common sense tonight.

Our performances vs Port Vale, FGR, Swindon and Northampton (all top five now) haven’t been bad. I think we could have beaten PV and FGR but today we got what we deserved.

We need to hang in there until Jan and need to strengthen.

 

No we didn’t. It frustrated me too and I stormed off, but when the dusts settled, we’ve played all of the top five in last month (Exeter was only in cup admittedly) and, at worst, matched them all.

this is a very bad division and if we had a chairman with ambition we’d be seizing the opportunity to strengthen in jan and go up with both hands.

Ha ha. What was his reaction after the game? i’ve not got the frequency in the car these days and missed it.

 

We were sadly shown a lesson in how to play football with the Stockport game earlier in the week.

We looked lame today. So poor in attack

 

How many players were trying to get sent off? Poor discipline really when we haven’t a strong enough squad as it is. Northampton will feel rightly aggrieved in my opinion.

Now we’ve played the top end of the table, I certainly hope we go to having 2 up front. Not getting beat is one thing, but not picking up 3 points is another…

 

Exactly why we should have been pushing on to win today because probability says we'll lose against one of these lower teams in the next couple of weeks and then everyone will see it as a crisis.

 

That was a poor performance. Really poor.

I'd love to hear the rationale for lumping the ball up to Robinson when it's abundantly clear to everyone that he hasn't the capabilities to either hold the ball up or run in behind.

The substitutions were negative and predictable. Zero effort made to win that game and Songo'o and Gilliead should never have seen out the 90.

Adams needs to realise that he isn't managing in front of a man and his dog at Morecambe anymore. Four straight draws at home is nowhere near good enough.

Is that what good looks like to you? The bloody play offs? You don't improve by faking positives.

The club is failing on the pitch currently. Stop dancing about and being weak minded. Just admit it to yourself.

As i said. We were poor today. A top seven finish is progress for us considering we were flattered to finish where we did last year - deserved to be lower.

Anything less then top seven is still a poor season for us, all that said. But we cant realistically expect auto promotion now can we. Not enough added to squad in the summer.

 

Automatic has to be the aim not matter what happened last season. It's a poor league and we brought Adams in to get us up.

If the season is just about finishing in the top 7 then we might as well not bother going to the games.

Either way under Adam's its just not been good enough. It's unacceptable and we can't put wins together.

If you have no standards then fine.

 

The problem with that top 7 finish is that the Mr Sparks has said we are getting promoted this season.

Top 7 makes sense but when we've said we're getting promoted, well.....

 

And Sparks clearly brought in Adams to achieve us getting promoted.

The clubs aim is top 3 not top 7.
