Another trip down to us on a Tuesday night. Derek won't be happy. As I predicted though, it would be at SJP and replayed not given as a Bradford win.

 

So the officials have made a right mess of it. Exeter weren’t really in the wrong but broke the rules so a replay is the fairest outcome.
What happens re the red card?

 

We should appeal that now.

Read it properly before clutching at soggy straws. It clearly says ANY unused substitutions. That means if there are two left then two can be used.

 

I'll be boycotting this replay, bet I'm not the only one.

I can feel the excitement. It’s in an inconvenient situation caused by poor officiating. I’d expect Ryan will probably say the FA will pay any expenses like travel and hotel stays and possibly a refund for the fans who attended. These things happen every couple of years. It’s a nuisance but the replay has to be replayed for continuity so be best if we moved on and got on with it.

 

The nice thing about this is that they obviously couldn't pin the error on our club. The decision exonerates us from any wrongdoing.

 

Clearly it doesnt otherwise it wouldnt be replayed. It very clearly says you broke the rules and have had your "win" removed.

 

If the game has to be replayed because of a feck up regarding substitutes, Angol was put into a position he would not have been had the 6th sub not been played as the game would have taken a different path.

If the game has been voided, then so should all the yellow cards and red cards issued in the game.

Doubt it, they are in mid table and miles off the automatic promotion place. Their defence looks very poor too based on last night

 

Due to match officials. Had we have been at fault we'd obviously have been booted out.

 

They won’t replay the entire tie. In fact they won’t replay any part of it. It’s just not fair on Bradford travelling down there again. It’ll 1 of 3 options. Exeter go through (most likely)

Exeter get kicked out and Cambridge get a bye
or
Bradford go through (least likely)

 

You're a bit late. The tie has been confirmed it'll be replayed in full at SJP.

 

If this game is classed as a 2nd replay the bookings/sending off should stand. However if the replay is classed as null and void the bookings should be scrubbed I would think.

 

Keep up to speed, the game has been reordered for the 30th November.

 

Guessing it wasn't one of those three options...
