Not sure it is tbh there is a video from the house of commons the other day where MPs were saying the same thing.

That's the video if you have tik tok listen to what is said. Unbelievable comments.

I think the point they are making is the current guidelines say to wear masks if you are mixing with people you do not know or do not regularly mix with. I’m not saying it is good advice but it is the same as people in offices not wearing them

You maybe right but it certainly is giving mix messages. It seems to be a case of one rule for one and rule for everyone else.

On the other hand though there is no way they aren't mixing outside the commons

Or it could be people (purposely) misunderstanding or misinterpreting the guidance?

Surely it is reenforcing that it is same rule for everyone.

personally I think they should be leading by example and wearing it but technically they are sticking to the rules

We already know many MPs have flouted the rules so I certainly wouldn't be trusting them full stop.

It's also on YouTube 3 days ago Jacob Rees mogg is the one that says it. Not sure how I link it to here from there but type in Jacob Rees mogg and comment on masks wearing.

That's why I said mix messages as that seems to be the case. As I said to Aaron above I wouldn't trust them or the media one bit to be upfront and truthful.

So why are people creating false screenshot to make it look like its on Sky News?

Do you not find that dodgy?

Because the health secretary Sajid Javid was on sky defending Rees mogg Comments so how is it fake? Obviously someone has taken the photo at the point of the headline.

If there wasn't a video with Rees mogg making the comments then you would have a point but there is.

You know Rees Mogg isn't the Health Secretary don't you?

It says specifically that the Health Secretary said "you can't catch covid from friends" but he hasn't said that at all. That's why we're talking about Rees Mogg saying you don't need to mask up around colleagues.

I'm doubting that Sky have misquoted Sajid Javid or mistaken him for Rees Mogg so the only explanation is someone has manipulated that photo.

Read above I state Sajid Javid is the health secretary so clearly know whose job is whose. The clip on sky is on him agreeing with Rees mogg.

Are you saying Rees mogg and Sajid Javid never said it even though there is evidence to back it up?

We don't have to wear masks, and they don't wear masks so there is no one rule for one.

I'm saying that Rees Mogg has said that the guidance states you don't need to wear masks around colleagues (along with a dig about the opposition benches not liking each other). He absolutely said that and he's absolutely right.

Sahid Javid has not said "you can't catch Covid from friends" there is no evidence of that and it's certainly never been 'BREAKING NEWS' on Sky. If you believe he's said it then I have a bridge to sell you.

    Two completely separate things.

And your time line is messed up. Rees Mogg made his statement 3 days ago, Sajid Javid hasn't been on Sky News over the weekend. The actual interview about the maskless cabinet meeting is from the 15th September so unless he can also see into the future I doubt they're linked.

I don’t think there is an actually video of him saying you can not catch it from friends. There is video of him talking about not having to wear masks due to then being friends but not actually saying that you can not catch it from friends.

At the moment there seems to be alot of upset about things that really don't justify it.

MPs on one side of the house of commons all wear masks as part of a virtue signaling episode. Labour and the SNP have mask rules elsewhere so they have to justify why they have rules elsewhere, but as said previously when the Labour Party conference came round, those mask rules went out of the window. They claimed it was down to a vaccine pass being required at conference but that has so many hole in it with large numbers of people double vaccinated currently having the virus that excuse doesn't wash.

As for the Tory side of the house, none of them were wearing masks, but guess what, you don't have to either. If they wanted to change that they could very easily but they haven't so I don't see why some are getting upset because the same rules that apply to them, currently apply to us. There is no us and them in this.

This is all media spin who are currently going gung ho i order to try and get restrictions placed upon the country because it doesn't affect them, they are in high paid jobs which aren't in the slightest put out by this, infact it gives them something to fill their papers and news reports.

What people should be getting upset about is the fact 100k employees could be kicked out of the NHS because they aren't double jabbed. This is idiocy, unless there are 100k trained staff hiding somewhere, I would be more upset in having no one to treat me in hospital rather than having someone who was unjabbed treating me who has more than likely been tested to attend work.

It's half term this week, and judging the trend in Scotland which with Schools return we are 3 weeks behind, we might start to see cases drop and that will have absolutely nothing to do with masks or covid passes.

By all accounts the Vaccine passport in Scotland was a bit of a disaster this weekend with a 40% drop in people attending venues according to some reports.

Well what do think of this then considering she isn't the only one to have suffered adverse reactions after the vaccine. As I was pointing out last week Clearly the safety of the jab is nowhere as good as we are being led to believe and something many doctors and professors have said.
