This is what I was mentioning the other day when I said the boosters will be every 4-6 months

 

I think the issue this time is the AZ seems to wain quicker than Pfeizer so they are not using AZ for booster.

but yep I reckon every six months and have said that since fairly early on after seeing the work we put in at work for setting up the COVID vaccination centres

 

I think the jist of what he was saying was that even if infections hit 100k a day we will still see less than half the hospitalisations we saw back un January

 

On the figures from the report I quote there were 10k over 80s who tested positive and of those 1.4k ended up in hospital, with 1.2k dying. I would guess that of the 1.2k who died many are those who went into hospital. There will be a slight cross over with some dying who didn't go to hospital but I think it's safe to assume that many did and unfortunately later died in hospital. That leaves probably over 8k of the 10k who are over 80 who recovered from Covid and didn't need hospital treatment. I would guess that figure is way way higher than what would have been seen if they wrote unvaccinated at that age.

Well guys my dad had a PCR test today after a district nurse who came to do his bloods earlier this week tested postive but what was bizzare is he wasn't asked any details such as name DOB or anything they just did the test and went. They also went to a couple of people on the same street so am presuming they did the same. How can tests be taken without confirming who has had it done. Every time he has bloods they always ask to confirm details even though they know him yet nothing today from complete strangers.

 

Hope he checked who they were as I’ve not heard of them doing door to door PCR testing in a long time

 

It wasn't the appointment was made by phone so genuine but find it bizzare they didn't confirm details.

 

Everytime I've had PCR they have just scanned my QR code, never been asked for my name or DOB

 

The current media stance is exactly what annoys me about them once again.

Cases are going up which, fair enough, can be viewed as bad.

But why is everything about the government? Why not encourage individuals to wear masks, cut down on interactions, etc, etc, or encourage companies to implement working from home.

I can't help feeling its because they're not interested in the actual effects or the outcomes they just want to be able to discuss the government because its easier than discussing the choices of the people. It's all just for clicks and to qctually create "news" rather than reporting it.

 

He didn't even do that. This is the first one he has ever had.

 

The media are only interested in click bait they just say what they want but never tell the full story and are great at scaremongering.

 

Looks like something is in the wind regarding vaccine passports, our friends over in Beeston will be having spot checks to make sure they are carrying there vaccine passports or some sort of proof they have a negative reading at todays match with Wolves. This has come off the offical site

The government has no intention of holding firm. What you're seeing in the press now, is pure manipulation to manufacture a perception that the Government 'wanted to hold out' before 'having no choice' but to reinstate lockdown measures that have been in the pipeline for a long while. Its not about a virus.

 

This is how screwed up it all is. As I said before MPs & diplomats don't have to be vaccinated. Whether you are vaccinated or unvaccinated we are being played
