Turning on Adams is not the way forward. We have to give him time to rebuild the crap out there and perhaps accept that he didn't have the full say on all the signings made in the summer. I can't be arsed looking it up, but how many were signed before he arrived considering how early we went in the window.

Parky took a full 12 months before he started to turn it around, and lets be fair his league form was unimpressive for most of the season.

It's shite, but we have to give Adams at least another two transfer windows before we judge him.

 

This lot should get on with playing football instead of making pathetic gestures, which the visitors refused to do and stayed on their feet.
Everyone at VP should be utterly ashamed at how low this football club has sunk, and that starts with Rupp and works it's way down.
Sparks did all the shouting pre season and got us all to buy season tickets on the promise that this was going to be the start of things to come.

Mr Rupp is who I am referring to the buck stops with him if he is not willing to fund a beneficial January window then it doesn't matter who is in charge we are destined for a mid table at best finish
My concern with Mr Adams are his tactics and refusal to drop out of form players whilst selling viable options surely that's not being ultra critical he comes across as a single minded man who thinks his way is correct without trialing different options
It's a vicious circle am afraid until things change (totally out of Mr Adams control) we are in a very depressing never ending circle

Agree totally, I am just worried about how messy things could get before he has his next window to attempt to turn things round. January is a long way off and some of the players look shot to pieces, some are just not good enough - but we need them as no options

Why would you put any faith in the opinions of players some of whom (O'Donnell) have multiple relegations on their CV, and the rest who collectively managed a 15th placed finish in L2 this season. If we back the players and sack the manager those idiots will see us relegated out the football league and then move on elsewhere.

All the signings were made after his appointment. How much say he had on some of them, such as Gilliead, is another matter. However, Adams doesn't come across as a manager who would be happy to sign a player without having the final say.

 

Mr Sparks openly stated before the season finished the ,,"new manager" has had input into Contract/transfer activity
Thought it odd at the time when he was still manager of another club pushing for promotion

You’d think so but when you have Sparks calling his mate at Peterborough asking if they have anyone you have to question what say Adams would have had if we did get someone from there. Maybe he was told Turnbull had some super scouting team and would help sort recruitment out, not be begging mates rates at the final hour. Either way Adams doesn’t seem to have anytime for most the recent signings certainly towards the back end of the window, almost as if he was told this is what you can have or nothing.

I don’t think the higher ups will Sack Adams any time soon. He deserves at least one full season to get things right

There’s clearly something very toxic going on at our club. It stems from the Owner who doesn’t give a shit to the same set of players who like to down tools whenever it suits them
