Thought Robinson did well when he came on, His running and defending was first class showing he has a good turn of pace catching their attackers on the break tackling back time after time, He was less effective up front but we were then on the back foot with neither him or Cook having much support, I think he has a hard time to get any credit after the way he arrived but an honest appraisal on yesterday would say he worked as hard as anyone to achieve a point and was far better than some on the pitch.

 

I'd love better and hopefully January will bring some in, but we have what we have, you can't pick and chose mate, 11 apperances 5 goal those are his stats so far this season.

 

Funny cos that's how I saw it. But then Robinson is the new scapegoat. We had worse players on the pitch yesterday than Theo Robinson.

 

Id take Hanson back over what we have now.

I watched most of the Forest Green v. Swindon Town game on Saturday and Swindon had a 19 year old striker, Tyreece Simpson on loan from Ipswich.
A big lad with pace, strength and very dangerous - just what we are lacking.
Made Andy Cook look very pedestrian!

 

The booing of Evans is pathetic, yes boo poor performances/results but to single someone out like that is disgraceful. To some on here apparently booing doesn’t matter, but if you think that will help our performance when a games in the balance, same as last week against Rochdale, then I’d find something else to do to energise your two brain cells on a Saturday.

That's why I said yesterday our new scouting team must be able to find a free agent/loanee who improves what we currently have until we can do something more permanent in January - be a bit damning if they can't!

 

But Adams doesn't do loans.

He got a completely different club promoted last year in a completely different context so nothing he does can be questioned so not looking at loanees is the correct decision.

Yes I agree it can take time. I’m simply saying I can’t see the plan based on what I’ve seen so far. We all want him and city to succeed. I haven’t heard the interviews so will pick that up later today.

At the moment our strike force is a busted flush every L2 team knows to stick 2 men on Cook and we won't score many
Naive tactics week after week expecting him to do all the attacking shades of Doyle and Vaughan destroying the lads confidence It worked with Angol (to a degree) both attackers scored goals

Swindons keeper had one of those 9.5/10 games. He looked quality on that performance.

I don't think we can even bring loans in can we until January. Free transfers yes, but the way he's talking up Angol and the other injuries coming back soon, I don't think he's going to sign anyone new. Lets hope the scouts are already scouring the country. Hope there's some money added to the empty budget!
