Not read the 12 pages but can't say I'm sorry at this. He's not good enough from what we've seen and if it gives scope to bring someone in who is better then great.

 

If true I cannot understand why we constantly employ players that down tools as soon as they are upset. this has been happening since right after mccall went the first time and you think we'd have learnt by now

 

I don't know what it is you've heard, but you seem to be inferring that Canavan is refusing to play rather than not being able to play due to injury. If that is correct, surely he'd be in breach of his contract wouldn't he?

 

You understand that we haven’t won in 7 and have one forward fit right?

Oh and have you seen Gilliead and Evans play recently? You think they are good enough?

Point is it’s the wrong time and the playing budget is done!

 

Hopefully we can free up more of the budget and move another 1 or 2 players on.

 

Not inferred anything about Canavan. I merely confirmed that I'd heard a similar rumour. I've no idea if that one's true. As an aside, I mentioned we'd not had an injury update. Excellent article on WOAP, by the way. All these rumours will be put to bed, if we beat Rochdale.

 

it does sound like you are trying to infer something. Personally i think its mountains out of molehills. Adams worked with canavan before so don’t understand why he would down tools now. Regardless adams presser is today so we will know if he’s still injured soon enough

For the second time, I'm not inferring anything. I'd heard a rumour doing the rounds. Adams keeps his cards close to his chest with vague references to injury updates. He quoted that Vernam would probably be back for Rochdale, Lavery would be next, then Robinson. There was no mention of Canavan who, from original estimates, should be back this Saturday. That's not inferring anything.

 

You don't get it do you? He isn't saying that.

 

You said ‘“injured”’ are you inferring that he is injured or not? To me that looks like you are inferring he isn’t injured and has downed tools.

 

Dodgy back, sore knee, tight hamstring. Easy for a player to say that have it and hard for a doctor or physio to disprove. Happens frequently at transfer window time I imagine. Not saying Canavan has done that of course.

 

Maybe he is putting the club first by leading the rebellion against Adams?

I have no idea whether Canavan is injured or not, but if not it might mean that he has "downed tools". From what I have seen so far it would be more likely that Mr. Adams has "rested" (fallen out with) him. I repeat though I have inside knowledge and no clue what is going on.

 

And you understand that replacing dross with dross doesn't help that situation either do you?

And you understand that one less wage, plus a fee, means that there is less spent on the playing budget you say is done, right?
