Its not an obsession, rather a model of how a club can survive on shite attendances by having a good scouting system and a lot of football nous in the hierarchy of the club.

Their philosophy, like it or not, has sustained the clubs existence for many years.

 

Without dmac having to put his hand in his pocket. He would be crucified in bradford for such behaviour. Imagine that, a club that can actually get promoted multiple times without a sugar daddy. Hang on, isn't that what rupp wants ?

Seriously though, I suspect what happens is he loans the club money to buy the talent then takes it back when they are sold. He is a savvy bloke and genuinely interested in football. If Sparks is out there prepared to learn at dmacs knee then we could do worse than listen. I like him.

He has put lots of money into the club, no doubt about it. I’m sure after building the ground he will get it back in rent aka Flamingoland style!

Well it certainly did in august when Adams could not get his midfielder or striker of choice.
If they ran out of budget then why is January going to be different?

Maybe one of the problem was that there were some good players and loans that moved in the last window but we seemed only to be looking at players from the director of footballs old clubs and contacts, If we are to progress with players we need to be aware nationwide of what players might be available,

 

Let's hope the strategy also includes a budget to be able to compete with other clubs to enable us to attract our top targets rather than being left with 5th or 6th choices such as Robinson.

Oh to be able to compete with non league giants such as Chesterfield and league clubs such as Barrow

 

Seems odd that you get rid of one man and then wait a month or so to get your new man in place.

 

Do we still have and pay for the WYSCOUT programme that Parky and a couple of others used?
