About 10 minutes before that Lund had a chance from another corner. Clearly we hadn't thought he'd be a problem form corners and the lack of leadership on the pitch meant no one was marshalling the defence.

Too many average players in the team. We may win some but clearly we won't score enough and we'll make errors and lose too many.

 

it's ok playing little triangle passes but going nowhere means nothing. There is very little attacking impetus and it's showing that we are in desperate need for another out and out forward.

Rod = opposition 1 shot on target = goal
Cook = 15 clear cut chances and he might put 1 away

 

Cook has cost us the points in the last 2 games. No point blaming Adams when those chances aren’t put away. He’s had numerous simple chances and done nothing with them. Might be time to look at someone else starting because we’re creating the chances but he isn’t finishing them.

We've got more attacking options than we've had for the last what 5/6 years. We could play all sorts of formations and any number of wingers or forward setups. But clearly we're just going to play 4-2-3-1 every match and Watt and Paudie will give away careless free kicks which cost us and nome of Vernam, Crankshaw, Gilliead, Eisa, Cooke, Angol, Robinson will score more than 10-15 in total.

If Adams has any balls to back up his words then he needs to shake things up for the next match because todays team was bang average.

 

Adams is clearly out of his depth, Picking players like Evans and ROD shows that, The defense and rest are so slow and lack the quality to win [promotion, He may well be better playing some of the young players he wants to send out who will at least have the legs and effort,

I get what you're saying - he misses chances - but he's a divison 4 striker. What we need is others contributing so when Cook doesn't score someone else does. Problem is our other attacking players have zero track record of scoring even five goals on average a season.

 

Same formation 4231 all the time. We played this under Bowyer and it didn't work. Negative tactics. No where near promotion if this continues. Who's responsibility is it for transfers Adams or Turnbull. Piss poor either way. Let's get 2 up top and play with wingers and have a proper go.

 

Totally disagree it’s another season of budget cuts and we clearly lack quality still. We are literally relying on Lee Angol being fit ffs. We could bring in 10 non league attackers and say we have options, that’s not my definition of investment though. These players won’t be growing into anything better. Time for Rupp to do one although that’s been the case for 3 years.

 

Next week is a big game now. We appear to be on a slide and very difficult to see where a win is coming from at the moment. Missing so many chances. Promotion? Not likely unless we learn how to score.
