Completely agree with this. I also think teams will see the squad and prepare to handle Cook specifically. Think this is helping Angol shine at the minute as well. I also read on twitter from one of those football league pages that Cook won the most aerial duels in the league on Saturday.

Why are you trying to make out that Hanson was subjected to some kind of horrific Nazi experiments?

Plenty of footballers have had to play with steroid injections, it's a common occurrence.

It's still no excuse for a centre forward to go nearly a full seasons worth of games and not score a single goal.

 

I'm not. The point is not the drugs, per se. It's that he was reduced to being a physical wreck because of being repeatedly sent out to play when he was injured and should not have been playing. And not just play, but be required to play a high tempo lone closing down role that would be physically demanding of even a fully fit player.
During his last season with us and his period at Sheffield United he was a pale shadow of his former self. Any objective person could see that.

 

I know you're desperately trying to find one but there's simply no excuse. His goalscoring record after leaving City was a complete embarrassment and the reason he took a lot of justified criticism.

Just because there's a select few that refuse to acknowledge any slight negative aimed at their perceived hero doesn't make it any less true.
