    Worst time of year to be driving down there peak of the Holiday season. As people are saying get off as early as possible. Weather forecast not great either

    I think if you read the Network Rail site the works affecting any journey for us is late Saturday so all should be well, if not see you on the bus!!

    The engineering works in the Bristol area will affect all trains travelling that way all day tomorrow. Cross Country trains will not be calling at Bristol Temple Meads and will be diverted around the affected area, which is why journey times are extended and the last train back north is earlier than normal.

    The times in the National Rail planner are the amended times.

    So this is what the retiree Bantamtalk contingent do during closed season! Anoraks donned, packed lunches and flasks all safe and secure in a convenient plastic bag, jotter pads and timetables in hand, down at Forster Square and the Interchange for a few hours a day.
