First Home Match Attendance

Listen '£149er'...............I don't claim to be but I support Bradford City, not Rahic and Rupp. Come saturday afternoon or tuesday night it is about the 11 men on the field.

EOTD Rupp and Rahic have made some strange decisions, some poor decisions etc but when they start selling off our best players to pocket the cash, start ripping off the fans with season ticket prices, suffer relegation or take us on the financial brink then we will have a problem.

Taking 6 weeks to appoint a head coach or not offering a plodder like Rory McArdle a 3 year deal isn't sufficient enough for me to turn my back on BCAFC - or even piss and moan about it on Twitter.

 

Not sure what a ‘149er’ is? Is that the opposite to a ‘happy clapper’? I used to to quite enjoy your posts until a few weeks ago, now you just sound like some sanctimonious upstart - enjoying ranting, I think I’ll give you a swerve.

 

Can't see many paying on the gate tbh regardless of how well we are doing, City fans wont go from what worked out at £6 a game to suddenly paying £20/£25

 

I'm optimistic and reckon we will get 15,500-16,000 for our first home game.

 

I presume it means you wouldn't pay £400 a season to watch Edin's kids play.

Great point. Even when Accrington were stuffing us 3-0 in 2007, the crowd was great.

A nice Home local derby (Barnsley), early August, so some hopefully decent weather.
Despite the 'holiday season', I'm still going for !6,500+ (Possibly 18,000 !! ?)
And a great Yorkshire atmosphere thrown in !

 

Why did you have to bring THAT game up?

They brought around 50 fans IIRC.

 

It depends who is counting will it be the same electronic bar code system as the last 6games at home last season when it was published as 19,000 every game, when in fact only 11,000 approximately was evident.

 

I and I suspect most, will use our eyes to estimate all the empty seats.
