2021/22 Season Tickets (now with poll)

As always I think they will sell the odd on but there will be no guarantee and no advertising of the fact

 

You do have to have a cut off point though,otherwise people like our friend Fordy would wait until 13th August to buy their ticket and then moan because it wasn’t delivered before the first home game. It’s also been a wide window to buy a season ticket so people are either going to get one or not bother. As Sparks said it’s a huge logistical operation to send out all the tickets, and to still have people buying them makes it even more involved. I would stress the cut off point like they have done and then after delivery of all tickets put them back on sale at £100 more.

 

Agreed. There will probably be a few tickets that go astray for whatever reason, or wrong seats allocated etc. The extra time before kick off should be enough to rectify these issues. Removing from sale is a gamble but if we hit the ground running, the POTD uptake should be higher so win win. Conversely if we start badly then POTD will be down.

 

I agree that we need to put a cut off date in place. However, I think we could still set a date after that with a price increase to give chance for potential additional sales

 

It is cheaper, but I can't imagine too many people would POTG for every single game. If they've missed out on the deal, there's just no incentive to go.

If there are no further offers, we're just not going to entice people to come to VP.

If as promised they introduce the subscription model then people could join at any time. Of course people could leave as well but it doesn’t tend to happen much with other subscriptions

 

But if they haven’t bought one already, why would they suddenly want to buy one (at a possible increased price) come 10 July?

 

Lets agree there would be some sales. Whether its 5, 50 or 500. I dont need to list the possible scenarios. Folks circumstances change.

As does our form/ position in the table, enticing others to join the band wagon. There could be a few, like you say 5/50 or 500 that pay on the day and decide sack this I'm ready to commit to the "project"

Some folk forget and arent organised I guess. Some may catch the buzz a feW days before the season starts and decide why not...

Absolutely....a good solid start would definately sway a few. I think half season tickets from January onwards could land the club a few quid if things are going well.

 

Against that though if fans thought there would be a half season ticket available around xmas then they might not commit themselves at the start and wait and see how we go instead..

Why would anybody pay more in cash if they could get it approx 15% cheaper via a DD?
