Afobe recently arrived at Millwall, which has made a certain attacker available.

Couldn’t agree terms.

 

Matt Smith is my guess......doubt its Bradshaw.

 

Which attacker at Millwall?

 

Yeah I know both of those things, I just don't agree.

Perhaps Threlkeld will prove me wrong and be a very good full back though. I suppose time will tell.

 

I heard we wanted to unveil him alongside Keiffer Moore.

 

I dont know alot about Foulds but can only assume he is a LB considering we brought in Canavan to offer competition to the O'Connors. Wood had no back up until he came in.

 

Surely moved on to next target?

 

He signed a new contract a couple of weeks ago I think. (work colleague is a millwall fan, I don't know random facts about other clubs!)

Mason Bennett on the other hand....

Hes 32 and didnt have a great season. Has to be him, Bennett or Bradshaw according to Bradford End.

Stranger things have happened - we signed Songo'o which you went on record saying wasnt happening.

 

Mason Bennett is a winger. Dont we have enough of those. This board would go apoplectic if we signed another "striker" who scores once every 10 games. Especially one who has already played for us.

 

Given Bennett signed a new deal in May, Smith signed his mid-June, Bradshaw was their record signing and is contracted for another season on 6K a week, I can't see any of them being available, really.

Although, since Afobe signed a few days back they have made Jon Bodvarsson available to move on, with Wimbledon and Pompey linked. Millwall also have made Isaac Olaofe available for loan, pacey 21 year old striker who was on loan at Sutton last season, scoring 15 goals.

 

Thought this forward was all but signed. If couldn't agree terms then that's nothing like at all what the itks claimed.

 

ITK or NITK ? If our transfers since Turnbull have taught us anything its not to listen to anyone who claims to be ITK

 

And a massive amount of guessing

 

If he's signing from them he'd need half a season of isolation and regular disinfecting before letting anywhere near a crowd

 

The guy from Iceland was bought on a sizeable fee I was told but hasn't shown much. League one teams interested so my mate says.

Smith they like as an impact sub to come on and throw himself around. That's mainly why they bought him and what their gaffer says.

Bennett was brought in on loan initially then signed with them permanently. Scored a handful of goals last season. Probably him and the Icelandic chap most likely to leave especially after Afobe signed.

 

If Bradford end is right it’s irrelevant anyway because wages couldn’t be agreed

 

I imagine if we were going to sign a striker that was ex-Championship, we'd end up with someone like Tyrone O'Neill.

It would have been amusing if we'd signed yet another ex-Scunthorpe winger, Hakeeb Adelakun is a free agent still - probably more than we'd like to pay for former Scunny lads though.
