2021/22 Season Tickets (now with poll)

I assume you have to attend the ticket office to change seats (probably an exception above where you effectively already control the seat to swap to via a non-renewing S/T) as it seems to say in the Q&A guide. Bit a of a bummer as 60 milees away!

 

Ring the ticket office and explain your situation. I normally deal first hand with the ticket office but they sorted all my queries out over the phone including the setting up of my direct debit. At a club where I've been use to amateurish service in the past the customer service was far better now.

Thanks for that. So it looks like I will have to wait until they go back on sale before I can look online and see what's available. I know where I want to be so think I'll email and ask if any of those seats are now available

 

I emailed the club ro change one of ours to the corner and it was sorted the same day .

 

Agree that would be standard for a lot of clubs

 

To clear up a bit of confusion.
I wasn’t swapping to an already occupied seat.
I wanted to swap to a freely available to buy seat.
Due to a co@k up over seating a couple of seasons ago mine and daughters were row N seats 45 & 47 due to 46 being unavailable and my wife’s seat is row O seat 45(the row behind).
I changed my wife’s to seat 46 on my row as now that seat was available.
I expected to have to pay a tenner but they did it for nowt.
I would strongly suggest you e-mail them straight away and explain your situation as I’ve always found them to be really helpful.
The downside of saving a tenner is I obviously have to sit next to wife now.
Can’t have it all I suppose.

 

Usually the club have already communicated that though. After July 10th prices will be £???

They are basically saying they are off sale after July 10th. So can I or cant I purchase a season ticket after this date....nobody knows.

Barmy if that is it. Surely missing out on extra sales.

 

The club have said they are off sale from that date so no you can’t buy one after that date.

Unless they change their mind

 

I wonder if we’re doing well pre Christmas time they may consider a half season ticket, if we’re around the top and Covid is well under control with no prospect of further lockdowns(which I know for a fact is putting some off still from getting one) could see a decent number sold as Christmas presents.

 

Yes but I find it hard to believe. Makes absolutely no sense turning people away willing to invest in next season.

 

I might be completely misunderstanding how the DD scheme works, but if it's like a rolling contract, doesn't that mean someone should be able in theory at least, to be able to take one out at any time?

 

I'm sure Ryan will have given all aspects of season ticket sales serious consideration.

 

They could be going off sale as a covid precaution so we don't over sell the ground, and come back once all restrictions on capacity are lifted. That makes more sense than just not selling at all after 10th July

 

Even if it's not in place this season, I suspect that's the long term plan but still with a 12mth commitment at each annual DD renewal based on price at the time

 

That’s what Yorkshire did for the T20 game against Lancashire.
Sold out thinking restrictions would be dropped.
When they weren’t they had to cancel thousands of tickets as only allowed 4500 spectators.
Me and wife were well pi$$ed off.

Despite that explanation from Sparks, I find it hard to believe a CEO would turn down funds and refuse to sell a ST even after a so called deadline
