2021/22 Season Tickets (now with poll)

Why? We still don't know how many games we will be able to attend. Certainly for the start of the season we may be on the claret and amber system. Not all of us are well healed retired businessmen. Personally, I think the take up has been superb in the circumstances.

 

There will be no "Claret & Amber" this coming season according to Ryan, I posted if that's not happening the club must be sure 11/12,000 will be allowed in, and watching Wimbledon on TV there should be no reason why we can't get all season ticket holders in this coming season.

 

You and @Fordy117 should get a room. Neither of you have a grasp on reality.

 

According to those figures we have sold 10.401 so we should just about get to the break even figure of 11.000

 

I dunno, we're still really worried about the new Covid cold symptoms.

That’s fair enough, if you’re buying multiple tickets I can understand the delay in committing. The uncertainty could certainly cause delay, but I’ve read in previous non COVID days, supporters questioning why the deadline was this date or that and wanting it moved when they’ve been given months to prepare.

 

Personally, think its very good considering the year on year decline on the field, the covid19 uncertainty with Boris and his mates, a 1/3rd increase in adult prices, an owner whom has little connection with its fans and some folk whom are still apprehensive in the modern world.

 

If restrictions are lifted on the 19th july, by the time of our first home match almost a month later, we will be fine and no claret or amber admission.
Most people will have had both jabs , so get your tickets bought people. we can not live in fear forever. time to get back to some sort of normality, as long as that normality is wining games , not the rubbish of the past four years.

 

We'll have to wait and see on that one. We have already had numerous false dawns and daily covid figures are not inspiring. It doesn't help having a pm who sees a photo opportunity to be more important than the health of the nation.

You have to be a serious WUM to think that’s a poor effort when you consider all that the circumstances behind why we could easily have sold less than last season let alone 2 seasons still in league 2 later, plus still time to go.

 

It has to be a herd immunity now, it looks like they have got the hospitalisation under control and still going hell for leather with the jabs they have to bite the bullet.

I'd think there will be another variant it looks like the vaccine has stood up we'll against all the variants so far.

 

We've got our tickets but have no mortgage or young children. Were that the case, we might have viewed the situation more cautiously. People have to look at their own situations and make their own decisions. I think the final figure will be between 11000/12000. In the circumstances this is exceptional and Ryan's acumen has to be congratulated.

 

Blxxdy hell you really are a little man with a big chip on your shoulder. I wasn’t referring to the total sales that are very good but it’s unfortunate and a pity that there are nearly 5k that don’t look like coming back. As for being “well healed” I put long hours and made big sacrifices for a decent retirement and I make no apologies for it

To be fair Park, most were unclear what you were calling disappointing.
As for the 4500 or so who have not renewed - I’d be amazed if a good chunk still don’t renew.
Think we’ll be nearer the 13,000 mark than 11,000 by the time we’ve done which will be a magnificent show of support all things considered.
