    If they have both signed then it wouldn’t surprise me to see Ridehalgh announced today, with Songo’o on Friday. With the way the media team are drip feeding news I imagine they’ll want one of the more ‘marquee’ signings done on a Friday, to give fans the weekend to talk about it instead of on a Tuesday/Wednesday afternoon.

    Hey, if we can start pre-season (or even the season itself) with at least one specialist player in each position then we'll be doing better than last year!

    From listening to Adams, I think we'll have them mostly in by end of next week so they can get used to each other.

    i have seen the speculation as regards Ridehalgh signing, but so far the only two correct signings we have made are Andy Cook and Oscar Threlkeld,
    could the mystery of a left back be Morecambe Liam Gibson, yet to agree a new contract and still a free agent come the end of june

    Well I look at yesterday's news. Potentially controversial appointment of Trueman (seems a good decision in my mind, especially in respect to the younger players) and Angoi, which certainly has more questions than answers, whilst England and Scotland both playing. We see it in the political world.

    Doubt it to be honest, Ridehalge is far more experienced than Gibson. I suspect he will be announced before the weekend, but we will just have to see.

    Fairly certain Gibson signed his new deal at Morecambe. If we go for any Morecambe LB, it will be Hendrie. He played 36 times in the league last season, Gibson was a bit part player really.
