I hope you're basing that analogy on the season before last as Wood was certainly one of our better consistent performers that season.

 

Under Adams at Plymouth he played him at RB.

Last season he was playing CM.

Where you getting LB from? Why would he play there?

I think so much will depend on attitude and mentality, particularly the players who were here last season, and I think Adams is our best hope of instilling this in them. I think we will end up with at least 3 players who have worked with Adams before and really hope they will help bring a stronger (and winning) vibe to the rest of the squad
I also think some of our players will actually enjoy working under a more demanding manager as some do genuinely thrive on having a bit more discipline exerted on them

 

Fair point. I am probably more optimistic with Adams at the helm certainly!

I'd suggest any fan of any club looks forward to the coming season with great expectations, I don't see this coming season any different.
As I posted I like the way Ryan has gone about his new job changing things behind the scenes with people to do dedicated jobs.
A new proven manager again a man who leaves us fans in no doubt what he expects of himself never mind the club, another promotion to add to his present impressive CV and then pushing on with the correct backing, which IMO wil be difficult not to give him if he has delivered what everyone involved with Braford City wants.
Listening to his recent interview, this coming week will several new faces coming into the club again we will have our own opinions on those players but his past record suggests he has a good eye for a player he wants to play in a certain position within his team.

To be fair they have big plans and made that extremely clear.

I agree they are average but they really want out of this rubbish league. It’s been made clear!

 

Over the course of his contract Wood has done well. The system we played last year leaves full backs exposed and it’s difficult for full backs.
I have read comments on Ridalgh that he is very good going forward and a good crosser of the ball but a bit weak defensively the same could be said of Wood.

 

Not fussed about what others say. What he does in the City shirt that counts if he signs.

Wood was a joke last season compared to the season before. He wanted out and played like that.

If you read what I say instead of frothing at the mouth trying to disagree with everything, that post was about Songo'o and Adams comments about the promotion players wanting more money, thus making it less realistic.

I'm happy we've signed Threlkeld, my point was I doubted wed sign him AND Songo'o and I outlined my reasons whilst also saying it was still a possibility,I just doubted it.

You really struggle to accept opinions, don't you?
