You are assuming the "Great Unvaccinated" will be allowed to leave the isolation units they will be confined to (see you there)
Can't think of one reason why things will be different in 4 weeks time but am sure the government will remind us
Anyone thinking restrictions will be lifted then needs to give their head a shake
The only way this is going to end is when the general public "Grow a pair" and get on with normal life regardless
In the meantime go to weddings but only the bride and groom can dance :unsure: wonder if that happened at Boris hastily rearranged wedding
It's all about controlling the masses

I know someone who drove for years without wearing a seatbelt, until they went through the car window. It had been safe enough for them for years!

We know the benefits of wearing seatbelts and that they reduce risk.

Chris Whitty has said the risk of Covid is tiny to children, to such an extent that when blood clotting was being discussed he said that the risk of Covid was less to children than the risk of the vaccine. Is he wrong?

I'm right with you. I won't be allowing my kids to have the jab.

I am not qualified to argue with Chris Whitty. Perhaps I am wrong but the issue of children contracting the virus, being asymptomatic, yet able to transfer the virus to others, was one of the reasons. I guess that would reduce risk in society?

The Hungary v Portugal game is on the TV. The ground is full.

Meanwhile in the UK with all the vulnerable double jabbed and people down to age 25 having one jab we can't even order a drink from a bar.

So you want children to take a vaccine that is more harmful to them than Covid to protect people like yourself? Don't you trust the vaccine? You know the vaccine doesn't actually stop transmission either btw.

I thought we had left the EU, so we could do as we thought best. Let’s not bother about other countries, but concentrate on our own and leave the final decisions to Mr Johnson?

I thought the idea of the vaccine was to stop people contracting the virus? If you haven’t got it, then it could be difficult to transmit something you haven’t got?

No the idea of the vaccine is to stop people who get the virus from becoming seriously ill because they will have antibodies to give them a head start at fighting the virus off. Sometimes this will be so effective that won't even show symptoms that they even had the virus.

It was Jonathan Van-Tam (although Chris may have referred to it since) and he was comparing the risk of the Oxford/Astra Zeneca vaccine versus the risk of the B.1.1.7 ('Kent'/'UK'/Alpha) variant and the risk to the young was only less in times when exposure to the virus was low.

We now have the more dangerous B.1.617.2 ('Indian'/Delta) variant and the Oxford/Astra Zeneca vaccine is no longer being used for the under 40s, which has shifted the risk considerably.

This more dangerous Delta variant, where is the proof for that? A handful of hospitalizations in Bolton where it is supposedly rampant in mainly vulnerable people who chose not to have the jab as a basis?

I posted some of the details on here not long ago, based on an analysis of 38,000 cases by Public Health England, which found that the B.1.617.2 ('Indian'/Delta) variant was 2.61 times likely to hospitalise an infected person than the B.1.1.7 ('Kent'/'UK'/Alpha) variant. Why do you think Boris went into panic mode (although I'm not sure it was necessary)?
