    We appear to have quite a few friendlies arranged:

    1) Tuesday 13 July away v Bradford 7.30 pm kick off.

    2) Wednesday 14 July away v Eccleshill United 7.30 pm kick off.

    3) Saturday 17 July home v Doncaster Rovers 3 pm kick off.

    4) Tuesday 20 July away v Guiseley 7.30 pm kick off.

    5) Wednesday 21 July away v Brighouse Town 7.30 pm kick off.

    6) Saturday 24 July home v Blackburn Rovers 3pm kick off.

    7) Tuesday 27 July away v Chesterfield 7.30 pm kick off.

    - Bradford (Park Avenue) (A) - Tuesday July 13 - 7.30pm

    - Eccleshill United (A) - Wednesday July 14 - 7.30pm

    - Doncaster Rovers (H) - Saturday July 17 - 3.00pm

    - Guiseley (A) - Tuesday July 20 - 7.30pm

    - Brighouse Town (A) - Wednesday July 21 - 7.30pm

    Cheers, I was editing my original post as you published the up to date list. That Doncaster fixture was a bit puzzling as it was initially being reported as Tuesday 13 July; looks like it has now been corrected.

    That suggests that until the restrictions on football stadia have been lifted, the club is expecting that VP will have a limited capacity of 6,000. I trust the restrictions will be lifted prior to the season starting or there will be some disappointed fans.

    I'm hardly concerned abut the pre-season games but I would be concerned if that were the case come the start of the season.

    Seems strange they would release this a few minutes before we find out that the restrictions are to be extended

    Its 2k for the first game and 4k for the second game rather than 6k for both. Apparently they're 'pilot events' which makes little sense but here we are.

    I thought that was the 2,000 for the Doncaster match added to the 4,000 for the Blackburn match.

    I believe each club is expected to hold two test events before it is allowed to increase to the permitted capacity (whatever that might be), so we are using these friendlies for that purpose.

    It’s looking pretty certain now that by 19th July will be the end of restrictions so the football season can start with full attendance which is good news

    Yes but all adults will have been offered a first vaccination and three quarters will be fully vaccinated and even the scientists said there is little further they can do we are going to have to live with it
