Very true, but if those players have had ten clubs or one club it leads to the same result. We just have to true Lurch and hope he comes good.

 

The point I was making is fans are not patient enough to watch a team being built. The Morecambe fans were saying on their site that if Adams isn’t top by Christmas we would be wanting him out and they are probably right

 

We should be building a team for promotion. Now. Its as simple as that.

The problem with those stats is that the form had disappeared, and the last 7 - 8 games were dire. The away Oldham game was the best recent case example where a manager had utterly lost the dressing room and the fans.

I am not totally without sympathy for him though, and some of it was down to individual player attitude as well as the Rahic hangover.

 

Yeah but you need to judge it at the end of the season, it might take a while to click. Obviously if it's as horrific as McCall was then fine but otherwise people just need to be patient. Asking for a manager to be sacked every time we're not top of the league by xmas (or when we're in a play-off place btw!) is crackpot club stuff and we need to move away from it

 

If you read some of the news articles about Mendes Gomes, Adams improved his game by making him more direct and playing with freedom. I'm expecting the same things will happen with Vernam and Crankshaw, which will make us a lot more exciting to watch hopefully.

I'm surprised how tight lipped everything is as of late. two signings already in but no word on who they are!! hopefully all gets revealed soon

 

damn disappointed to see him go but it's hard to stay at a L2 academy when Prem sides come knocking. All the best for him and hopefully we can see him in the senior england set up soon. All the best Darryl!
