Agreed. Our 'big' lower league crowds have done nothing for us since 2016.

PL have played without crowds all season. Pretty much business as usual in terms of the top 7 or 8. Made no real difference.

It might grab you a late equaliser here and there but thats about it.

 

And yet the stats imply the number of away wins under no crowd scenarios is higher than where crowds are present

tbh yeah he looks it....although maybe that's his languid style.. I'm not trying to knock the guy I just don't see him as the dominant CB we all want, but that is purely my opinion only

His legs are longer than Rory's so he appears slower(ha ha). On form he does look dominant but to me he looks like he organises the people around him. I remember watching a game from high up in the stand opposite the Midland when we had the big Swedish guy from Leeds. He had the turning circle of the QE2 but sideways on and high up, you could visibly see him directing the other defenders

If a team gets promoted after 46 games they deserve it. Everyone gets lucky in the odd game but you don't get lucky over 46!

 

Sunderland had a better season with no crowd - certainly better than last.

Look, I don't make excuses. Teams like Bradford, Sunderland got shown up but I don't believe we get off to such a poor start with crowds at VP and our away support.

All ill say on your last point is Town got promoted on a negative GD and ‘won’ the playoffs without scoring a goal. If theres any team that didn’t deserve to go up its them.

 

They didn't get lucky. They got promoted. And deserved it to!
