I'm not being arrogant here, but next season, with the right man and our budget, we really shouldn't be hoping to just scrape into the playoffs. Why would winning this appallingly shite league be a miracle ?

Grayson is a (self proclaimed) "championship manager" and his list of demands was just his get out clause thinking he would get a better job, no bottle for a real fight. Bowyer will be hounded out of Salford by Christmas once they get over the fact that he almost got them back on track and realise "Boreya Ball" wont work for them.

Don't get me wrong, Bowyer is a nice guy, but man his football makes Parky look like Pep, he's got the personality of a Henry Moore sculpture and he would be the designated driver on any night out.

True but it is also true that what happens on the pitch reflects what happens off it. Ryan promises that he will sort out the running of the club and so far, we have no reason to doubt his word. I'm very optimistic for the coming season but to be fair, that's not for the first time.

I was generalising. For those that don't know Wrexham (or Chester) Liverpool is a good geographic reference. It's funny, because over here in Estonia (next to Russia), whenever someone asks me where I'm from, I get a blank look when I say Bradford, but when I say "it's near Manchester", they all seem to nod like they know where it is.

I used to get the same here in Poland. I don't think they knew where Manchester was either, but at least they'd heard of it.

 

Good recruitment builds a good team. I didn’t mention a plan. Not all 24 teams will have a good manager and a good team, but having someone who knows how to build one is a bonus.

If only promotion was decided by how many managers are run out of town. The boy wonder has only been here five minutes and he's already on his second appointment. Whoever the new one ends up being he'll have to have us top 3 from the off judging from the comments on here. Does anyone really think the if we had Ian Evatt producing the same early season form he did at Bolton we'd have stuck with him to take us up? Perhaps this has dawned on Adams and he's decided he'd be better off where he is. I wouldn't blame him.

A bent, totally criminal one that everyone bar his son hated. Manure just finished second and they don't exactly have good owners. Chelsea flourished under Matthew Harding, yet Bates describes the latter as "evil". I'm sure Sheik Mansoor is good to his concubines but not the rest of Dubai or UAE or wherever he lives.
